The game list for 2013

Here will be a lost of all the games I hope to review by years end. Keep in mind this is subject to change if any games are pushed back or new ones pop in :)

  • Dead Space 3
  • Aliens: Colonial Marines
  • Tomb Raider
  • Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel
  • Bioshock Infinite
  • Last of Us (Maybe considering it is a PS3 exclusive)
  • GTA V
  • Splinter Cell: Blacklist
  • Pokemon X and Y

Here are a few without releases I hope come out for me to do as well.

  • Deadpool
  • Star Wars 1313
I will also find ways to keep the blog running in the gaps between my reviews. With such things as the videos I have going constantly on my YouTube channel.

So here is to a great 2013 :D
Oh wow, I'm pretty bad at this reviewing stuff. But starting soon a few mates of mine and myself will be starting to do reviews based on the new and upcoming games.
I will always upload my reviews here but if you wish to see the reviews of my fellow reviewers you can just join our Kalgoorlie gamers page HERE to keep up with all our doings and gaming gossip.

With that said hopefully my blog should get a lot busier of the next couple of weeks. Thanks for sticking around :)

Gears of War 3: RAAM's Shadow DLC 2

Anybody who played the first Gears of War should remember the name RAAM. This huge monstrosity was the biggest and meanest locust of the lot serving as Queen Myrrah's right hand man... or locust.

The second instalment of the Gears DLC is called RAAM's Shadow and allows you to play as RAAM. Adding 3 hours of campaign missions, some new and old characters and a few new skins for you're weapons. Playing as RAAM is certainly different than playing as you're everyday normal Gear. But Epic doesn't throw that out the door either. Set before the events of Gears one playing as Zeta squad is certainly going to bring back some memories for players of either of the two previous Gears games. Consisting of Minh Young Kim, Alicia Valera, Tai Kaliso and Michael Barrick you are thrown into the town of Ilima City a few short hours before a major Kryllstorm is due to hit. Playing through this short but very expansive story as you try to escape this city with Zeta squad and then destroying it as RAAM certainly sheds new light on a very old story. As always the Epic Games development team have done their best to provide us with stunning visuals and amazing cutscenes. That being said not everything is perfect as with all things there are flaws and sometimes they do show, whether it be texture load times or even the glitching Wretch (It was hilarious) but it didn't stop me from having a blast with the DLC. All in all a strong start on the road of future DLC for the Gears universe.

Gears is a strong a game as it always has been and no one is expecting that to stop anytime soon.
